Markus Liszt - Concept & Technical Direction

Markus Liszt is a performance artist, stage designer and stage technician based in Vienna. He started performing with Fenfire in 2004. In 2008 he joined "daskunst" and in 2010 began stage design with Asli Kislal as director. In 2012 he began working with Hubsi Kramar as well on other off-scene productions. In 2010 started the performance project “ffid” in cooperation with Conny Zenk in the field of new circus and media art. His latest work with Conny Zenk was “self[ie]dreamer” in 2018. Starting in 2012, he began working as a freelance technician at the Fabrik-Seestadt and has accompanied most of the cultural and artistic events there. In 2014 he began a cooperation with Seelab/mediaopera.

Martina Fröschl - Artistic Direction & Concept
Science Visualization Lab – Digital Arts department, University of Applied Arts Vienna
Dr. Martina Fröschl studied media technique and media design and wrote her thesis about computer-animated scientific visualizations of tomographic scanned microscopic organic entities. The depiction of realities and biological phenomena has ever since driven her creations. She contributed to various documentary and fictional productions for TV and cinema as visual effects and CG-artist. Her recent computer animations are based on scientific imaging data like µCT, MRI, SEM and light microscopy in collaboration with imaging experts and biologists. Currently, she is a senior researcher at the Science Visualization Lab Angewandte at the Department of Digital Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Conny Zenk - Artistic Direction & Performance
RAD Performance
Conny Zenk is a media artist and performer in the field of visual music. She works spatial and urban context, researching feminism, gender, migration and Social media, using digital interfaces, gadgets and sensor technology. Your special interest is dedicated to audio-visual improvisation, as well as the connection of body and vehicle. She leads and curates the participatory event series RAD Performance. Since 2013 it has been developing numerous First performances and cooperations in the field of contemporary performance and urban Exploration of space. 2008-2012 co-founded Conny Zenk ffid, which operates at the interface of audiovisual art, performance, design and philosophy within the framework of selfieDREAMER has been further developed. Her works are presented in the fields of media art, performance, film and Visual music presented at numerous European and international festivals.

Georg Hartl - Sound Engineer

Georg Hartl is specialized in systems engineering in the field of audio, light and radio. (Opera in the St. Magarethen quarry, Donauinselfest Vienna, Amadeus Austrian Music Awards, AC/DC Spielfeld 2015, and many more) Various events as technician and project manager as well as technical director for the independent art scene. (RAD Performance, Art of Sleep, selfieDREAMER, RADschen Wanderung - Festival of the Regions, Resonant Sights, mobile stories, a.m.m)

Glenneroo - IT & Documentation
United Motion Labs
Glenn is a computer programmer, photographer and digital artist based in Vienna. He is one of the founding members of United Motion Labs, established in 2005. UML is an experimental lab dedicated to creating immersive audio-visual installations and Glenn is involved in every step of production — from filming, content creation, pre/post production, VJing, DJing, creating software tools, IT administration and handling photo, video and time-lapse documentation.

Jan Lauth und Elisabeth Vlasaty
Verein mediaOpera
Jan Lauth is a lecturer at the University of Applied Arts, has shaped the Viennese visualist scene with his work and since the late 1990s has founded and directed event series and art spaces such as Equaleyes or pool in the Museumsquartier Vienna (1999 to 2010) and interim uses such as mediaOpera in the Rinderhalle or seelab.

Elisabeth Vlasaty, who studied law, has also worked as a production manager since the late 1990s and has been the commercial director of the mediaOpera association since 2009.
